Ontario Ancestors is Canada’s largest member supported genealogical and family history organization. Our Annual Conference is Canada’s largest education event in genealogy, while our FREE Family History Show is the country’s largest genealogy and family history trade show.
Our Conference program balances the discussion of DNA in genealogy and the tech tools available for writing family histories with instruction in the hands on experience of library and archival research, in a manner which can satisfy the interests and the needs of all. We have sessions designed for beginners, intermediate and advanced researchers, so that the hobbyist and the professional will feel equally at home.
The Conference presents some of the leading names in genealogy & family history with Mags Gaulden, Jen Balwin, Linda Corupe, Lynn Palermo, Alan Campbell, Dave Obee, Lianna Kruger, Daniel Horowitz, Mark Olsen, Elise Cole, Carol St. Clair, Laura Hedgecock, Elizabeth O’Neal, Emily Potter, Nicholas Lockhead, Janice Nickerson, Johanne Gervais, Eva Kujawa, Allana mayer, Alyssa Gomori, Bill Gladstone, Kae Elgie, Kaye Prince-Hollenberg, Gary Finkell and Dave Hook.
