Q: I have signed in with my Ontario Ancestors id and when I try to register, I am told that I need to sign in.

This appears to be a caching problem with Google Chrome.  You can try a different browser (Edge, Internet Explorer, or Safari) or you can try clearing the cache on Google Chome using these instructions .

Q: How do I add meals, workshops, or tours to my registration.

This is very easy to do.  Make sure you are signed in with your Ontario Ancestors account and click on the Registration button.  Select “Add Meals, Workshops or Tours”.  Now you can select and pay for additional meals, tours, and workshops.

Q: I cannot attend the conference weekend. Can I still register for the Friday workshops and tours?

Absolutely!  Make sure you are signed in with your Ontario Ancestors account and on the Registration button.  Select “Add Meals, Workshops or Tours”.  Now you can select and pay for meals, tours, and workshops.  Don’t forget that anyone is welcome to visit the Family History Show in Marketplace!

Q: I am unable to attend for the entire weekend.  Is it possible to register for either Saturday or Sunday?

Yes you can.  When you register as a conference attendee, you can select the weekend option or either Saturday or Sunday.

Q: I am not an Ontario Ancestors member and I am having trouble registering for the conference.  What should I do?

To register for conference, you must have an Ontario Ancestors account even if you are not a member.  To create your account go to Ontario Ancestors.  Once you setup your account, you will be able to register for conference.

Q: I am registered for conference and now I need to cancel.  Can I get a refund?

We are sorry that you are not able to attend.  Depending on when you cancel, you can get a partial refund.  Refer to our cancellation policy for more details.
